The Sutton Hoo Ship’s Company reconstructs and researches the 7th-century Sutton Hoo ship using authentic materials, tools and techniques, through experimental archaeology, volunteering, education and public engagement, we preserve traditional skills and give people of all ages and backgrounds opportunities to learn, participate and connect with Anglo-Saxon heritage.
