Dundee Heritage Trust (the working name of Dundee Industrial Heritage Ltd) is the proud guardian of two of the best-loved museums in Scotland. Together, we spark curiosity in heritage for over 80,000 people every year.
Discovery Point is home of the globally significant Royal Research Ship Discovery, the ship built in Dundee in 1901 to pioneer world-first scientific research in Antarctica. Verdant Works is the fabric of Dundee, our Victorian mill where we preserve the sights, sounds, and skills of the industry that made Dundee, and made Discovery possible.
Our purpose is to protect and share our heritage for the benefit of current and future generations.
Our present, urgent mission is to conserve the the RRS Discovery for the next 100 years.
