The Tom Henson Charity

Registered charity number: 1183033
After his death Tom's friends and family decided to raise money to spend on defibrillators to be installed across Bolsover and surrounding areas to give other people the best chance of survival.

What our donation will help fund

To assist with the upkeep of current defibrillators in terms of new batteries and pads plus fund replacements when current defibrillators reach end of life. This is going to help towards this enormously.

At The Tom Henson Charity, we raise money to help put defibrillators into communities. We rely on donations and our own fundraising activities to do this. We have been overwhelmed by the support we have had from the communities we have been able to help so far, they have been amazing, so BIG thanks to them for what they have allowed us to achieve. Sudden cardiac arrests in the UK every day: < 1 in 10 : Less than one in ten people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest. 4 in 5 : Occur away from hospitals 8 minutes : UK target response time for 999 ambulance 10% : Per minute reduction in chance of survival without prompt advanced medical intervention This is why public access defibrillators are so important.
