Our charity provides a safe space for adults with disabilities to come together to maintain and build friendships. We provide activities tailored to our members and our aim is to reduce the isolation and challenges that they often experience due to their disabilities.
Every summer we run a six week summer program this has proved very popular with all our members. The funding we receive will allow us to continue this and is greatly appreciated. The impact of running this program gives our members the opportunity to experience fun outings with friends that they don't usually get to take part in for various reasons one of the issues they experience is financial hardships as they rely on benefits. The program gives them structure, social connection, helps their mental health and reduces their anxiety and the support we offer them builds their confidence and in some cases gives them some independence.
Thanks to this donation we can continue opening door for disabled adults helping them explore new opportunities, gain independence and shape brighter futures for themselves.
