Sarcoma Cancer Ireland Company Limited by Guarantee

Registered charity number: 20206638
Sarcoma Cancer Ireland is a patient-led charity dedicated to supporting people diagnosed with sarcoma, as well as their families and loved ones, through support services, advocacy, information, and practical assistance.

What our donation will help fund

A donation of £1,000 will help us continue providing vital support to those affected by this rare cancer across Ireland. The funding will contribute towards our free counselling service, which offers professional emotional support to patients, family members, and those who have been bereaved by sarcoma. It will also help us provide practical assistance through our patient grant programme, helping to ease some of the financial pressures that can arise following a diagnosis or during treatment.

In addition, this funding supports our peer support initiatives, awareness campaigns, and educational resources, helping people access reliable information and feel less isolated during an often challenging journey. Every donation makes a meaningful difference, enabling us to reach more individuals and families and ensuring that no one faces sarcoma alone.

"We are incredibly grateful to receive this £1,000 grant, which will help us continue supporting people affected by sarcoma across Ireland. As a patient-led charity, we understand first-hand the challenges that come with a sarcoma diagnosis and the impact it can have on patients, families, and loved ones. This funding will help us provide vital services such as professional counselling, patient support grants, peer support opportunities, and trusted information resources. It will also enable us to continue raising awareness of sarcoma, a rare cancer that remains largely unknown to the general public. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a real difference to the people we support. This grant will help ensure that those affected by sarcoma have access to the emotional, practical, and financial support they need at some of the most difficult times in their lives."
