The Rainy Day Trust supports people working across the home improvement and home enhancement sector, providing financial, emotional and practical support to help them build resilience, prevent hardship and access help in times of crisis.

What our donation will help fund

This donation will directly support our 3-tier model of prevention, early intervention and crisis support for people working across the home improvement sector. The funding will contribute towards our frontline support, including emergency grants for individuals facing financial hardship, as well as early intervention services such as debt advice, counselling and practical support.

It will also help us continue to build preventative programmes through our Workplace Ambassador model, equipping employees with the tools and confidence to access support before challenges escalate.
For many people we support, a small intervention at the right time can prevent a crisis. This funding enables us to respond quickly to urgent need whilst also strengthening longer-term resilience across the workforce.
