Greener and Cleaner helps local people make sustainable living easier (we deliver locally but think, and influence, nationally) by normalising 360-degree sustainable living so that the whole community feels empowered to take action in how they live, work, play, use their voice and make change.
We will use the donation to support our community outreach work, such as delivering our free workshops, events and weekly sessions that serve our community, including (but not limited to) our; Baby and Toddler Group, Knit and Crochet Group, Energy Advice Clinic, Mending Clinic and much more.
We are passionate about creating a non-judgmental, welcoming space for everyone to be able to connect over their interests first, so that they can learn about sustainability - organically - second - in a way that feels "normal" and not forced or pressured. This support will allow us to continue to offer these services and more as free at the point of entry, meaning that access is for all, and therefore so is our support towards a more sustainable future for all.
We are so grateful to Movement for Good for this generous donation. It will enable us to continue supporting everyone in our local community to become more sustainable in their daily lives, work and play, whilst simultaneously bringing different generations, cultures, experiences and skills together in our central Bromley Hub. Before we launched our community hub in The Glades Shopping Centre, Bromley residents had nowhere to ask questions, learn skills, or access services to simplify sustainable living. In 2025 we saw over 20,000 people visit our Hub, and over half of the people we asked said that their awareness of environmental issues increased ‘significantly’ or ‘very much’ since engaging with us. We connect our community by creating purpose, connection and resilience. We increase cross-generational and cultural skills-sharing whilst also tackling loneliness, poor mental health, cost of living concerns, employability crises and environmental concerns and habits. Your support means our fantastic work can continue to reach more people.
