Springboard Opportunity Group

Registered charity number: 1025787
Springboard Opportunity Group is dedicated to giving children under five with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) the best possible start in life. Through tailored early years education and close partnership with families, we nurture each child’s development, creating lifelong learning experiences and strong support networks.

What our donation will help fund

Your donation will go towards our core costs for our highly trained Practitioners, enabling us to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), aged 0-5,. Across our 4 specialist settings, sessions are small with a high level of adult support. All sessions have a structure which allows for group times, free play and individual target work. Children attending benefit from our practitioners’ specialist knowledge, training and strategies including visual aids to communicate with non verbal children to ensure their voice is heard.

To continue and grow Springboard's vital work, we need to raise over £300,000 during the 2025–26 academic year. With the gap between statutory funding and service delivery costs continuing to widen, we rely more than ever on the generosity of supporters and grants like Movement for Good's.

At Springboard, we see every day the impact a small charity can have — not just on a child’s development, but on an entire family’s wellbeing. Our strength lies in our close connection to the community, our specialist knowledge, and the trust families place in us. But we can’t do it alone. As the pressure on small charities grows, we need continued support to keep delivering the life-changing work our children and families rely on, thus increasing the importance and impact of winning this £1,000 from Movement for Good's 12 Days of Giving.
