We work together with the NHS to help make life better for cancer patients in Sussex – providing equipment, facilities and services that make a tangible difference for patients who are often on a difficult and stressful journey.
We also selectively fund and enable Sussex based cancer research programs that contribute to the understanding of cancers and improved outcomes for patients.
This funding will be used to purchase specialist comfort equipment for people receiving cancer treatment across Sussex, such as supportive seating and practical items that help make long treatment appointments more comfortable. These small but vital improvements can make a meaningful difference to day-to-day experiences during treatment, helping us continue to support local patients and clinical teams where it is needed most.
Sussex Cancer Fund supports people affected by cancer by funding vital equipment, services and projects that enhance care and wellbeing for patients and the NHS teams who support them. Our work focuses on making meaningful, practical improvements to day-to-day experiences during treatment. This £1,000 grant from Movement for Good will allow us to invest in comfort and wellbeing resources that help people feel more supported while receiving care.
