West Wellbeing provides a holistic approach to help children, young people and adults in mental and emotional distress and their families.

What our donation will help fund

Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donation of £2,000 to West Wellbeing. Your support makes a real and lasting difference to the lives of people in our community who are struggling with their mental health.

This donation directly supports our free, confidential counselling, befriending, and crisis intervention services, enabling us to reach individuals and families across West Belfast who are experiencing distress, isolation, or suicidal thoughts. Specifically, it will help fund up to 40 counselling sessions, provide one-to-one emotional support through our outreach and advocacy work, and support drop-in sessions for people in addiction or acute need.

Your generosity allows us to offer a lifeline to those who feel they have nowhere else to turn. It helps us reduce waiting times, respond quickly to those in crisis, and continue to create a safe, non-judgemental space where healing and hope can begin.

At West Wellbeing, we are committed to providing free, mental health and suicide prevention support to individuals and families across West Belfast. Every day, we see the devastating impact that poor mental health, trauma, and isolation can have — but we also witness the power of early intervention, compassion, and community-led care. This grant will allow us to reach even more people in crisis, reduce waiting times, and deliver vital services including counselling, outreach, and peer support. It’s not just an investment in our charity — it’s an investment in hope, resilience, and recovery for the people we serve.
