This donation will be used to provide support for families facing the news no parent wants to hear, that their child has cancer. It will be used to support families on children's cancer wards in Nottingham and Leicester Children's Hospitals with activities and essential items.
It will help fund our PASIC 'comfort bags' which help families at the start of a child's cancer journey with items useful for time spent in hospital. As well as treats, games and trips out for children/teenagers and their siblings. The funding will make a big difference to the families we support including: providing respite, making life in hospital easier, increasing confidence and resilience, improving mental well-being.
