East Cornwall Search and Rescue Team

We are fairly unique in offering both and above and below ground capability, including water and floor rescue. The terrain in our area can be steep and challenging, requiring ropes to recover people and give them confidence.

Our members are all volunteers and spend many hours training for the different scenarios we can come across from medical emergencies, to fractured limb, to mental health issues and being caught out by the weather. This requires specialist equipment to not only keep our members safe but also assist in the recovery of the lost and injured people. A lot of this equipment has a PPE shelf life and we are always having to budget to renew. This kind donation will a long way to assisting with our next purchases.
