Friends of the Cancer Centre is here to enhance the quality of patient care and support through our life-changing and life-saving work. We do this by funding additional nurses, supporting local research and providing practical support, such as our financial grants, which help families through a difficult time.
Friends of the Cancer Centre relies on the generosity of the local community. All money donated stays in Northern Ireland, directly benefitting patients and their families. A donation of £2,000 could fund 80 hours of care from one of the charity's team of clinical nurse specialists, or provide 8,400 cups of tea/ coffee to patients waiting treatment or a donation of £2,000 could help to provide 8 families with financial grants to help alleviate some the financial worries that come with a cancer diagnosis.

This incredible donation of £2,000 will go on to provide help to patients and their families impacted by a cancer diagnosis right here in our local communities., this could be through financial grants, complementary therapy or through our team of funded staff.
