Hale Community and Youth Centre offers a warm and welcoming space for local families and individuals, providing a wide range of fun activities, useful support services, and diverse opportunities that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and community connection.
This funding will allow us to continue our valuable exercise classes in the community. Ranging from informal outside gyms for families to strength and stability sessions for those that need it we always team our offerings with refreshments and the opportunity for people to socialise and connect. Our latest project runs in the local church and provides a friendly instructor with a mobile gym offering. These sessions are fun and quite rightly popular and provided free to our local community.
Our Community and Youth Centre is more than just a building; it's a lifeline. It’s where Reg, a resident of 55 years, found friendship after retirement, and where Sue, a young mother, found a support network that turned her life around.
Every day, a small team of people and an amazing group of volunteers work to combat loneliness, support families, and improve the health and wellbeing of our whole community – young and old.
Our Vision is to create lasting positive change with an ethos of working 'with', rather than 'for', providing a safe, welcoming, inclusive and inspiring environment where the whole community is encouraged and enabled to thrive.
