Gloucestershire Older Persons Association

The donation will be used to maintain and enhance our current projects in particular:

Increasing the capacity of the Older Drivers Forum for Gloucestershire to deliver presentations and attend events to more geographically distant areas of the county. In the process we will be providing advice for mature drivers on how to keep driving safely for longer and how to plan for the time when it is time to retire from driving - as well as supporting families and carers concerned about a mature driver.

Enabling the Gloucestershire Dementia Action Alliance to produce new and updated information leaflets and promotional material as well as the resources to distribute that material.

Ensuring the charity has the capacity to engage with partner organisations across the statutory and voluntary sectors as well as local organisations working with and supporting older people in Gloucestershire.
