What our donation will help fund

ARFID Advocacy Ireland is a start-up charity working to lay the foundation for ARFID advocacy, so that everyone affected by Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) in Ireland feels understood and supported.

This funding will allow us to continue supporting those already connected with us and reach others who need help, while also raising awareness and increasing understanding of ARFID across communities.

We aim to achieve this by developing a dedicated website, distributing informative leaflets in health centres, and delivering information sessions to organisations seeking to better support individuals and families affected by ARFID.

We are a start-up charity with a mission to empower those affected by ARFID to connect, learn from one another, and build a supportive community. At the same time, we work to raise awareness and improve understanding of ARFID across society. Our vision is a world where people with ARFID are fully understood and supported by those around them. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who nominated us. This funding from The Benefact Group will make a meaningful difference to individuals and families across Ireland already impacted by ARFID — and it will allow us to reach and support even more people in need.
