Perranporth Surf Life Saving Club trains and supports volunteer lifeguards of all ages to keep our beaches safe and promote ocean safety for the local community and visitors alike.
We will use the donation to help maintain the highest standards of safety on our beach by supporting our volunteer patrols, ensuring they have the training and equipment needed to respond to emergencies and prevent accidents. Your support will also help us continue providing essential safety advice and education to beach goers of all ages, helping to build awareness and confidence in and around the water, and ultimately keeping our local community and visitors safe throughout the season.
At Perranporth Surf Life Saving Club, our mission is to protect lives by training dedicated volunteer lifeguards and promoting vital water safety education. From our youngest members in the Nippers program to our experienced volunteers, we’re committed to building skills, confidence, and fitness in and around the water. Our team works tirelessly to patrol the beach, respond to emergencies, and share life-saving knowledge with the community and visitors. This grant will make a significant difference, enabling us to enhance our training, maintain essential rescue equipment, and continue providing a safe, supportive environment for all ages to grow, stay active, and enjoy the ocean safely.
