TinyLife is Northern Ireland’s only charity dedicated to supporting premature and vulnerable babies and their families. Every year, over 1,800 babies are born too soon, too small, or too sick, and TinyLife is there every step of the way, providing emotional and practical support from hospital to home.

What our donation will help fund

The £2,000 grant from Benefact will directly fund our vital Family Support Services, which provide practical and emotional support to families with babies born too soon, too small, or too sick.

This funding will contribute to our hospital-to-home support, offering specialist guidance from Family Support Officers who assist parents in navigating life after NICU. It will also help fund breast pump loan services, ensuring premature babies receive vital nutrition when they are too small to breastfeed. Additionally, the grant will support sensory and developmental classes that aid a baby’s early progress and bonding with their parents.

Each year, around 1800-2000 babies are born prematurely in Northern Ireland, and many families feel isolated and overwhelmed. This donation will ensure they receive expert care, reassurance, and access to essential resources at one of the most difficult times in their lives.

TinyLife would like to extend our sincere thanks to Benefact Group for choosing us as one of the first charity's to be part of the 'Pay It Forward' initiative. Every year almost 2000 babbies spend time in a neonatal unit, and the support we offer families is a real life line when they are feeling at their most vulnerable. Every penny donated by Benefact Group will go towards ensuring we can continue to provide these much needed services and supports.
