Community Connect is Ireland’s first national ‘Baby Bank’ – a registered charity dedicated to providing practical support to pregnant mothers and vulnerable families with small babies, who are struggling to provide for their children.
Community Connect is delighted to receive a £5,000 donation from the Benefact Group through the Movement for Good Awards Special Draw – Children & Young People. This funding will make a significant impact on our ability to support pregnant mothers and families with young children in need across Ireland by helping us expand our reach and respond to growing demand. With these funds, we will be able to deliver baby bundles filled with essential items such as nappies, clothing, hygiene products and baby equipment to families facing poverty or crisis. This will enable us to deliver basic necessities to as many as 50 more families, ensuring pregnant mothers and families with young children receive the vital support they need.
Thanks to the support from the Benefact Group, we are able to provide not just material support, but also relief and dignity to parents who are struggling to meet their children’s basic needs. This generous funding will directly contribute to a healthier, more hopeful start in life for babies and young children across Ireland.
