ELHT&Me raises funds to make a difference to East Lancashire Hospitals patients and in our community services, the charity delivers items that are above and beyond the NHS budget and support patients from birth and throughout their lives and end of life care.
The donation is helping us develop End of Life Support Boxes for grieving families. These boxes include comforting and practical items such as end-of-life books, ribbons for keepsakes, handprint kits, and other thoughtful resources to support families during an incredibly difficult time. The East Lancashire Hospitals bereavement team supports up to 40 families each week, and with the charity’s help, we can ensure the bereavement suite is stocked with items that truly make a difference.
