Richmond's Hope is a children's bereavement charity that provides a safe space for children to work through their grief, to preserve memories of the person who has died, to explore their feelings, to develop coping strategies and to understand the impact the bereavement has had on their lives.
The grant will be used towards providing arts and craft materials for bereavement support sessions. These materials will be used in sessions with children and young people to help them remember the person who died, explore challenging feelings and learn coping strategies to help them live well with their grief.
"Thank you to everyone who liked & voted for Richmond's Hope! We were delighted to receive the donation from the Movement for Good awards. The grant will be used to provide bereavement support sessions, giving children and young people the time and space to work through their grief in a safe space with a trusted adult. As a small charity, this grant will make a real difference to the lives of the children and families we work with. "
