St Oswald’s Hospice is a charitable hospice rooted in the North East of England. The hospice provides outstanding, specialist and expert care to adults and children with life-limiting conditions, and for their families too.

What our donation will help fund

The donation from The Benefact Group was used towards our annual running costs, helping us to keep our doors open and services free for those who need them.

As a charitable hospice, we need to raise over £14.5 million each year to be able to continue providing our services. Around £6m of this is provided by statutory authorities such as NHS and local councils to provide our charitable care services. The remaining £8.5 million needs to be raised through voluntary giving.

Every penny raised to support our work is gratefully received and we are delighted to have received this donation from the Benefact Group. Thank you to everyone who nominated us.
