Working in auctions, markets and other places of sale for the welfare of animals vended this way, offering a place of safety for those with no one to care and intaking the old, the sick, the unwanted, the young, and providing ongoing care and living environment suitable for their needs.
The donation award will allow for the charity to purchase and install more Mud-Control mats to increase our hard-standing provision for resident horses and ponies and as such creating an extra contained paddock for use with those who have specific restriction requirements.
EMW Sanctuaries are so grateful to receive the £1000 grant from the Benefact Group, Movement for Good, which will allow for us to improve our sanctuary facilities by bringing in more Mud-Control mats. We can then provide a dedicated and safe turnout area for those in need of restriction and also for those awaiting veterinary treatments and recovery as is necessary with the castration of colts. EMW Sanctuaries continues to be active in equine welfare and working in auctions and markets and other places of sale throughout the year, intaking when we can those who have no one to care for their needs, intaking the old ones, the very young ones, the neglected and abused ones, and bringing them back to good health within the safety of the calm and peaceful sanctuary. WE look forward to another year of aiding equines in need of support. Thank you to our amazing supporters for helping the charity to receive this award.
