Gympanzees

Registered charity number: 1189375
We are fundraising to open the UK's first fully accessible exercise, play, and social centre for disabled children and young people. We have already fundraised to secure a building, and now we need to raise £8 million to make the necessary renovations to open a purpose-built facility by June 2026.

What our donation will help fund

When you donate to Gympanzees, you’re helping us transform the lives of disabled children and young people across the UK. Your support ensures that every child, regardless of ability, has access to vital opportunities for exercise, play, and friendship.

Donations fund multiple aspects of our work, including the creation of fully inclusive leisure facilities that cater to the needs of disabled children, young people, and their families. Your generosity helps us maintain our Lending Library, providing specialised equipment to families who need it most, and covers essential operational costs to keep our services running smoothly.

Every penny contributes to our ultimate goal of opening a fully accessible centre by June 2026. This ground breaking facility will be a haven where families can access everything they need to play, exercise, and build connections—all under one roof.

By donating, you’re not just funding projects—you’re changing lives and creating a world where no child is left without opportunities for joy, growth, and inclusion. Thank you for helping to make this vision possible.

At Gympanzees, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of disabled children and young people by providing them with accessible opportunities for play, exercise, and friendship. Our work also creates vital support for our families, making our eventual centre inclusive for all. This grant will enable us to expand our inclusive facilities, maintain our Lending Library, and progress towards opening our fully accessible centre by summer 2026. These developments will allow us to offer even more practical, accessible, and inclusive services for disabled children and their families. We are incredibly grateful for this generous contribution, which will help us continue making such a positive difference.
