Dillon Quirke Foundation

Registered charity number: 20206579
We are a registered charity working to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) and fund widespread cardiac screening for young people (aged 13-17) involved in sport. Every year, SADS takes 100 young lives in Ireland alone - a startling statistic that surpasses rates in many European countries. Research has shown that cardiac screening can significantly reduce the incidence of SADS. In 2024 The Foundation provided over 10,000 free cardiac screenings for young sports players all across Ireland.

What our donation will help fund

The donation funds free cardiac screenings to prevent Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS). SADS takes the lives of more than 2 young people per week in Ireland, early cardiac screening can prevent this. That's 2 families and communities every week that will not have to suffer this tragedy (over 100 per year).

With your help, we are making a difference. With your help, we are saving lives. Thank you for joining us on this important journey, thank you for making a difference, and above all, thank you on behalf of the players and their families who you have helped to protect.
