AARCS' mission is Changing Lives Through Kindness with a vision of a Compassionate World for All Animals. AARCS is combating animal homelessness through community assistance programs and has found adoptive homes for over 25,000 homeless animals. AARCS is unique because we are hands-on in the communities in which we work unlike traditional shelters that require people to come to them. This is especially important for remote communities with little or no access to community support programs or veterinary care. AARCS firmly believes that improving the lives of animals, educating the public about animal care, promoting spay and neuter and assisting those in need will lead to a happier, healthier and more empathic society.
