Hope In Shadows Society is a charitable organization based in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Megaphone's mission is to: change the story on poverty by promoting social equity, amplifying marginalized voices, and creating meaningful work. We support over 150 Megaphone vendors and storytellers impacted by poverty, inadequate housing, homelessness, substance use and other marginalizing barriers by providing income-earning and self-determined creative opportunities.
