Seeds for the Future supports Community Development in Ramabanta, Lesotho through High School Scholarships for the most vulnerable children in society. We also support the most vulnerable adults and children to access food.
The £1,000 from Movement for Good enabled us to support an extra child to attend high school. It gave us some security to know our program was sustainable.
In Lesotho, High School education must be paid for which is not possible for the children on our programme - the most vulnerable in Society who have lost their parents or whose household has no income. The grant allows us to fund 4 year scholarships to High School, with all the other associated needs such as uniform, books and stationary. S Taylor-Jones (Volunteer trustee)
The impacts of the scholarships are truly life-changing as told to us by M.M. who joined the programme in 2015. " I am reaching out to express my heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support you provided during my high school years. Your guidance and encouragement significantly impacted my life, shaping my journey towards a career in Engineering electronics".
Sian Taylor-Jones, Trustee, Seeds for the Future (Lesotho)
