The Friends are an active and flourishing group of parents who support the school through organising fundraising and social events. Each year they organise the summer and Christmas Fairs and other social events such as quiz nights, children’s fashion shows and book fairs. They also organise the online school uniform ordering system. Money raised from the Friends enables the school to buy many valuable extras, such as ipads, hexagonal seats around the trees on the field, outdoor play resources and curriculum discovery days. School Council also work with the Friends on fundraising events and approach the Friends with requests for extra resources in school. The Friends also support and subsidise special events such as Maths Mind Mission Day, the Christmas entertainment and theatre trips.
